Mode Joins COBSEO
We are pleased to announce that Mode Rehabilitation has been accepted as an associate member of the Confederation of British Service Organisations (COBSEO), an organisation that exists to work for the interests of the Armed Forces Community, including Serving and ex-Serving personnel, and their dependants.
Membership of COBSEO is official recognition of Mode as a charity that works to promote and further the welfare and general interests of the Armed Forces Community.
At Mode we specialise in working with a range of combat-related issues including brain injury, loss of limbs, PTSD, anxiety, and substance misuse, and offer a range of in-house therapies specifically tailored to addressing these issues including:
- CBT for depression and anxiety
- EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for trauma
- The 12-Step Approach for substance misuse
- Massage and physiotherapy for joint and muscle injury, embodied trauma, and phantom limb pain
We also offer employment support in partnership with Project Recce, a veterans career transition program.
COBSEO represents hundreds of charities and organizations from all over the UK offering numerous services to members of the armed forces community including courses, employment, disability assistance, housing, welfare, and more.
